I've just sent £327.40 to the Altzheimer's Research Trust and another £327.40 to the British Red Cross.

Guidebook for Olympus

We are also very pleased to announce that in conjunction with guidebook.com we have produced a smartphone version of our program guide for you.

The application runs on Android and Apple phones with a mobile web version for web based smartphones like Blackberry and Windows Mobile.

The application features our full schedule, dealers list, Twitter feed, Facebook link, news stream and photo gallery. We will be adding a searchable list of programme participants in the next couple of days and the schedule will also be updated and kept up to date.

Books! Moar Books!

This year the charity bookstall in the dealer's area will be supporting British Red Cross and the Alzheimer's Society.

Richard Proctor will gratefully receive donations of good quality books, especially but not limited to scifi and fantasy. Why not clear a shelf before you come? Then there'll be room for all the books you take home with you.

DVDs also welcome but no VHS please.

Membership transfers

We have had a few people looking to sell on memberships as they can sadly no longer attend.

In order to honour these changes we need any trades completed by Noon on Tuesday, BST, and an email from the selling member to membership@olympus2012.org with the name and email address of the person they are transferring the membership to.

The person receiving the membership should also email us by that deadline to tell us what they would like their badge name to be. Otherwise we will choose one for them. We LIKE choosing badge names...

No transfers will be accepted outside this time period, for any reason.

Membership Trading

A handful of people have contacted me today to ask about selling memberships.

If you cannot attend and have a membership to sell please post here (and if you wish on FB/ yahoo group also)

Financial arrangements are up to the people involved and I will move a membership on the instruction of the current owner.

We need all trades completed by close of play Monday or we won;t have time to do an extra badge run.
